We'll use Codepen, a popular online coding environment, to explore and experiment with the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript, while going over a brief history of the World Wide Web as a platform. Limited to 18 participants.

Trick or tweet! Submit a scary story using 15 lines or less. There are three prizes for both middle and high school divisions sponsored by the Beaverton Library Foundation. All entries are due by close on Tuesday, October 24th - 8 p.m. at the Murray Scholls Branch and 9 p.m. at the main library. Winning entries will be posted here on Friday, November 3.

First Prize - $100
Second Prize - $50
Third Prize - $25
